The Ford Racing Performance Packs were included in the Ford Mustang FR500C that won in the Grand-Am cup championship.

It’s official, after months of speculation and rumors, final testing has indicated that the most powerful factory-built Ford Mustang ever just got even more potent. Final certification testing of the Shelby GT500’s 5.4-liter supercharged V-8 shows it will produce 500 horsepower and 480 lb.-ft. of torque - 25 more horsepower than preliminary estimates.

Eric Carr, VP of American Racing Equipment, inc., has teamed up with Carroll Shelby International, inc. to manufacture and market a new line of wheels fitted to the Ford Mustang under the brandishment of “Carroll Shelby Legend Series.”Two styles of wheels will be available under this brand: the “Shelby Razor” and the “AR427 Shelby Cobra.”
