Chip Foose didn’t just put his name on the 2007 Foose Mustang, he put his heart and soul into it. He drew the concept sketches. Sculpted the clay. Helped design and spec every stitch in the custom interior and every pavement-ripping performance mod. The first production custom ponycar is named Foose Stallion which will be available in both coupes and convertibles.
Back in January, Ron Pratte won the right to purchase the first Shelby GT500 at the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Event in Scottsdale, Arizona for $600,000. On the 27th of June, he was at Ford’s AutoAlliance International assembly plant for delivery of the most powerful production Ford Mustang in history.

The 2007 Mustang is pretty much a carryover from 2006, but there have been a few changes and feature improvements for Ford’s sports car. A wide assortment of available features along with some great new special editions make for an exciting line-up.
Today at the 2007 Ford full line preview, both Derrick Kuzak and Carroll Shelby gave some insight about what’s in store for Ford’s ponycar. As the most successful car in Ford’s portfolio, Mustang enthusiasts were given a promise of “new product content” each year. I suppose that’s what the company should do considering it’s slumping sales of late, attributed to many things including higher gas prices. Gas rebates and incentives only go so far, and Ford has to maintain interest in the icon that defines their “bold moves” advertising campaign.
Carroll Shelby built only one 427 GT500 “Super Snake” in 1967, which set new performance standards for speed and performance at the time. The mighty G.T.500E Super Snake is a modern evolution of that legendary car.
Built for Shelby by Unique Performance, the G.T.500E Super Snake is the most powerful regular production Shelby (based on a Ford Mustang) ever offered to the public. Each car features a 525 HP aluminum Shelby 427 engine, Unique Performance rear suspension, Tremec transmission and many modern performance upgrades, as well as special badges and striping. With an optional supercharger, this Shelby churns out an earth shaking 725 horsepower.
