The Boss Is Back?
There have been rumors floating around for several months about a new Boss Mustang on the horizon, one that’s sure to make enthusiasts happy. How about as light as a V6, faster than a GT, and less expensive than the GT500?
At this point, there are few details other than the confirmation from Motor Trend’s September edition magazine. According to MT, the Boss Mustang will get the entire Shelby GT500 suspension with a stripped interior to reduce weight. Sounds like this ponycar is destined for true gearheads looking for a no-compromise answer for a real musclecar.

Not enough power out of your 2005 to 2006 Mustang GT? Filling the need for a factory approved supercharger for the already stout 300 horsepower 3v Mustangs, Jack Roush released his latest roots style blower for the late model Ford Mustang.
Some people will do anything to get alittle exposure, and Tim Singleton (aka White99stang) is no exception. He’s fitted his 1999 Mustang GT with MM front bumper and quarter glass decals. Equipped with a VT 302 stroker and an assortment of drag related go-fast parts, Tim put on a display of power sure to piss off the neighbors (see below).
Drifting is the latest import from Japan, but it’s not a car or a truck. Drifting is a type of racing, and it’s (arguably) the most exciting form of motorsports around. The name comes from the actual technique that is employed to make a car “drift” around the racecourse. To observers, drifting appears as if the rear end of the car is trying to swap ends with the front. The goal is for the driver to balance steering and throttle to control the car’s drift and direction in a four-wheeled slide.
