It appears Ford has been road testing prototypes of the much anticipated 2009 Mustang. KGP Photography snapped a barrage of pictures as the Mustang passed by during heavy traffic in what appears to be Dearborn. In true spy shot form, the the front half of the car is covered - though the resemblance is unmistakable. It’s clear this car has taken cues from the Italiano “Giugiaro” concept we first spotted at the LA Auto Show.

Introduced last week (sorry, we’re late) at the Performance Racing Industry Show in Orlando, Steeda Autosports’ newest creation is a race inspired version of their street / strip specialty Q335, they call it the “Club Racer“. In true Steeda fashion, this car is at home on a road course, the drag strip, or as a daily driver (albeit with a bit more flash).

“The Q335 Club Racer comes with all the standard Q335 equipment plus these competition proven parts: Steeda Pro-Action Struts and shocks, Front Control Arm Relocation Kit and chrome –moly rear lower control arms. Popular options include the competition front facia, Steeda billet front brake duct kit, 14” front and 13” rear brake upgrades. The Steeda Q335 Club Racer is available through Ford dealers.”

Available as a tuner package, you get all of the features listed above plus some engine mods (bumping the horsepower of the standard 4.6L to 348 ponies) for about $16,895 (from Steeda’s website). Enjoy the pics.
