We D.A.R.E. You To Try This Modded Mustang

Sheriff’s Office in Yanceyville, North Carolina. This isn’t the first D.A.R.E. car we’ve covered (remember the BUSTang?), but out of respect for authority (I wasn’t going that fast officer, honest!), and in hopes of scoring some brownie points with the local law enforcement, we’re gonna do another.

Warriors in Pink – A Worthy Cause

Warriors in Pink Mustang EmblemArriving at dealerships this summer, this 2008 model was designed exclusively to support the Susan G. Komen for the Cure - the world’s largest network of breast cancer survivors and activists working together to save lives. The Warriors In Pink edition Mustang was revealed this past weekend on the 11th, as part of the Komen Race for the Cure events in Philadelphia and Minneapolis.

Car of The Year – 2008 Ford Shelby GT

2008 Ford Shelby GTSixty-six vehicles competed for affection from fourty journalists in Austin, TX in the 2007 Spring Challenge, landing the Ford / Shelby team with yet another honor – this time courtesy of the Texas Auto Writers Association (TAWA).

Roush Goes Graphic – Courtesy of 3M

3M Roush Mustang SmallIt might seem impossible, but the experts at 3M figured out a way to take a ROUSH Stage 3 Mustang and have it shown with three radically different full-body graphic designs over three consecutive days. During the ISA International Sign Show at the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Convention Center in Las Vegas, 3M brought in a silver ROUSH Stage 3 Mustang. Then, during the show hours and live in front of the attendees, they wrapped this vehicle on three occasions from bumper-to-bumper with 3M Controltac graphic film. This unique film has a Comply* v2 adhesive which allows it to slide around for positioning and not stick until firm pressure is applied.
