Just when we thought that there were enough factory Modded Mustangs available, Roush brings us the 427R. You won’t hear us complaining, quite the opposite actually because the 2008 427R Trak Pak looks to be a great race car that we’ll be seeing on the track against Saleen’s Parnelli Jones Mustang.

Modded Mustangs member Timothy Singleton, aka White99stang, recently competed at Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords “Street Legal Stick-Shift Shootout”, which printed in this month’s July 2007 issue. Tim has worked very hard modifying his pony, and has been a member of the forum since it’s beginning back in 2005 (seems like so long ago).

Ford Motor Company and the Lear Corporation have teamed up to offer more green to consumers, as in being more eco friendliness. Soy - as in soy milk, soy beans, etc. The same stuff tofu dogs are made of is going to be the base product in Ford’s new seat foam - starting with the 2008 Mustang.  Sounds good in theory, but what about the smell?

The 1960’s classic “Bullitt” will be back, and this time we’re talking about the movie. Originally made famous by Steve McQueen’s famous chase scene (see video below), the Bullitt has already had a classic and New Edge version Mustangs modeled after it, and yet another Bullitt Mustang is in the works by Ford in honor of the flick’s upcoming 40th anniversary.
