Bullitt enthusiasts, rejoice! The rumors are finally over, and the new 2008 Mustang Bullitt GT is finally roaming the streets of America. The history behind this Mustang is well known among enthusiasts, and has brought forth many questions about its authenticity and historically correct nature.
Shelby and Ford recently celebrated their 40th anniversary – which of course means that they produced a limited edition car. What better way to celebrate than with a GT500KR that has the power to push out 540 horsepower. As always only a limited amount of these cars will be produced and released to the public. This time is different.
Ford chose the New York Auto Show to reveal the new 2009 ‘Warriors In Pink’ Mustang. We all know the drill with the WIP Mustang. Ford will only be making 1,000 of these limited special edition vehicles. $500 from the sale of each Mustang will go to the Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure breast cancer awareness organization.
When it comes to naming our Mustangs we try to take great care in picking the perfect name. Many of us have desperately gone for the name ‘Eleanor’ – which is famous from the movie ‘Gone in 60 Seconds’. After a long battle the name has been licensed and you don’t even have to worry about giving it a name because it will already be called the Eleanor Mustang.
So how many of you love a nice and clean foxbody? How about a nice and clean foxbody with enough bark to scrape the back bumper down the 1320? I know I do. If you don’t then… well of course you do.
