TURBO-WASH® Does it Work?

Car enthusiasts are always looking for a way to make washing their beloved cars easier to wash, and are also looking for a more efficient way of washing. Well with that in mind many companies have stepped up to the plate to see what they can offer, and hopefully create a product that revolutionizes the car world.
We will be looking at one product today called the TURBO-WASH® which was created by a company appropriately named Turbo-Tek. Their product is a spin off of a pressure washer, but this turns your ordinary garden hose into a pressure washer that not only cleans your car, but your boat, motorcycle, windows, parts of your house, etc. They are claiming this product to be a multi-wonder tool to clean just about anything that a pressure washer can clean. There is only question remaining if I have caught your eye already. Does it work?
Their are infomercials on this product and as many infomercials you think it’s a bunch of lies, and over dramatized acting, but still I was skeptical, and so was my mom. So as a Christmas present my mom bought this for me. Upon opening the box it came in I opened up the TURBO-WASH®, a bottle of their “soft suds” which is the soap you use inside of the turbo wash, a small tube of car wax, and extra nozzles. Upon initial inspection of this I thought that this couldn’t possibly work, and it honestly could have been made stronger. The telescoping nozzle on this seemed to be too loose, and “wiggled” too much for my liking.
Now this is an item that you want to read the instructions with. Which can be found at the TURBO-WASH website or you can click the link I have provided by clicking “instructions” to go straight to the English Manual. The manual does leave something to be desired by not explaining everything about the item. You have to look at either the website or at the nozzle tips them self to kinda figure out what does what, or you can try them yourself. There are more “settings” if you want to call them that on the TURBO-WASH® itself than the manual lets you know of so once this was noticed I decided to pitch the instructions and try this thing out for myself.
Now my car at the time of use was by my standards very dirty. It hasn’t been washed in a couple weeks. So I thought this would be a great test for the TURBO-WASH®. So I took the TURBO-WASH® and their bottle of Soft Suds outside with me to my garden hose, and attached the garden hose to the TURBO-WASH®, and then opened up the front plug and squeezed in the Soft Suds into the main container of it, closed the plug up and turned the hose on. Once I finally did figure out all of the “settings” and so forth I must say I was honestly surprised. This thing actually works. My car was actually clean. I did not scrub a single thing, the only time I physically touched my car from using the TURBO-WASH® was when I dried my car off. I must say that being the huge sceptic that I am, to find a product off of an infomercial that actually works for the money spent on it. I am utterly surprised, and shocked, and to be honest think that others should give this mini pressure washer a try. The downfall to it is that it does not have the same pressure as a real pressure washer would, and the company leads you to think that it should. The company leads you to think that this item will do away with pressure washers for household uses; when ultimately a pressure washer can still do some good, but for about $25 the Turbo-Wash® will do just fine for your car. The other items the company claims it can clean I have not tried. I can only justify it’s use on a car. I also have not used the wax that it came with. I’m a brand loyal customer of another brand.
Now this does clean your car pretty fast I must admit. I was done with everything but drying my car in about 30 min and that was because I washed it twice. Yes, twice. The container holds way too much soap for a car to be washed with. You will be wasting soap every single time you wash your car if you keep refilling it to the top. As I mentioned I was able to wash my car twice, and I still had soap left over. So do not fill up to the brim. It has enough pressure to get things like dirt, bird droppings, and other marks off. I have not tried yet, but I have a strong feeling it does not have the pressure needed to remove something like tree-sap.
For the simple fact that this item works you have to realize it is not perfect, but it does have some nice attributes.
