Crankshaft Positioning Sensor - "Special tool"

I am taking a '93 Mustang 2.3 and swapping things from my blown '89 Ranger 2.3 and going to install it. The Crank Pos. Sensor (CPS) wiring on the Mustang 2.3 is corroded so I plan on pulling the CPS from my Ranger engine and install it on the Mustang engine. I've read over the instructions in my Haynes manual and it mentions a "special tool" for the CPS? Of course the yshow no picture of this tool or procedure. Can anyone clear this up for me? I've searched for a post on the topic but found none. Maybe my seach words are not hitting? Anyhow, I'd appreciate any help on the issue.

Thanks,
