which computer to use
ok, so i am switching my 89 motor to a 93 8 plug. the deal i am getting is motor, tranny, comp, full harness, rad and fan.
the 93 is an automatic but my 89 is 5 speed. which comp do i use if i leave the stick in the car. damn i get so confused.

I am doing 5 speed swap myself and want to know if i need to do anything about the computer.. sorry about butting in but kinda the same question ?? I did,t want to make a new thread!!

i would think you would need the computer from a 93 5 speed to put in there. as far as the guy doing the 5 speed swap goes u need a computer from a 5 speed. the computer tells your transmission when to shift the gears in an automatic |

screw the fuel injection i,m putting a carb on mine, Holley 2 barrel!!! anyone need some parts computer wise, injection wise ?? ebay here it comes!!!!!!!
