2.3 to V6
wondering if any one could tell me which V6's would swap in my 93 LX. Im hoping to use my same tranny and minimal eletronics swapping.
I plan on a mild build and run it in brackets from time to time. |

I don't know of any that would be as easy as doing either a 5.0 or Turbo 2.3L swap.
You've probably heard a lot of this already, but is there any reason that you'd rather do the V6 instead of a V8? It doesn't sound like you already have the engine, and any money you'd save buying a used 6-cylinder will get ate up real quick in performance mods that will only get you to what a stock V8 is putting out. Also, there's lots of parts available to do the V8 swap, whereas you'll probably have to custom fab parts to put a 6-cylinder in there. Were you into road racing, I could understand the 6 for weight and balance reasons, but not for bracket racing.
