buying a 88 89 need some help

Hey ive been looking at ths car for a little while now, it looks to be in good condition,

I think its a 88 its a auto 4 banger.

I was wondering if you coudl give me an idea on how much it would be worth, the guy is asking 3000

I havent taken a real close look yet but he says it has around 134,000 on it i know thats really good for that year,

Could some one tell em aboot how much just like a average would be for a car of that year ?

Thanks

I agree, $3K is *steep* for an auto 2.3, no matter the mileage. I can find auto 2.3s over here for 6 or 7 hundred.

Now find me a 5-speed 2.3L notchback... I've been looking for one of those for 2 years now.

cool thanks your american right ? just wodnering for exchange so about 1000 would make sence , i just took it to the ford place for an inspectuoin today its got a lot of little problems, im thinking 1500 no higher.

I knew 3000 was way to much, but 800 would make mor sence .
