Brian, your English is fine. Welcome to the Forums.
You might want to read through these forums first. There is a lot of good information presented here from a lot of different people. I think the best way to take on your Mustang project, would be to work on one area at a time. There are many areas you can improve upon, without spending a lot of money. I am working on a head porting tutorial for the 2.3 engine right now, for people who like to do some of their own work. There are many posts on these forums about weight reduction. Exhaust systems. Camshafts. Exhaust headers. Gears. Engine Tuning. Intake systems. Pick one of these topics that you might be interested in doing first and the rest of us can post our opinions.

Brian, we can get some performance out of your Mustang as well....and yes this car is fun! I think that most of us on these forums are lacking in either time or money, usually both. We typically take on small projects for our cars and improve them one piece at a time. That is the way I built my car. I wanted to keep it street legal in California, “at least in spirit” so I spent money on things that most people would not have: like expensive high flow catalytic converters. The exhaust system was one of the first things I modified on my car. I used 3” exhaust piping that gradually tapers down to 2.5” I chose an exhaust header which was originally made for a racing Pinto application, because I knew that the exhaust system would eventually have to support the other modifications that I was planning. I almost always recommend starting with a good exhaust system, if you are serious about making real power with your engine. The initial HP gains from the exhaust modifications are only 8-10 HP, but the potential to make more power with other additions in unleashed.

OHC230, Where you using the stock 35 pound (brown tops) injectors with the stock 89 computer? I'm wondering this due to the 35's being low impedance and the NA computers being high impedance.....
Also, very nice numbers!!!!

Yes I have installed low impedance injectors with high impedance drivers(and visa versa), both with and without resistor packs and I have yet to burn up an old EEC computer but I’ve fried a couple of OBD 1 ECU’s, due to my stubbornness and stupidity. The PK1 ECU in my Mustang is a tough little thing and has survived a lot of abuse from its owner. I think the drivers in the EEC’s were probably overbuilt. I have been told that the trick to making these reliable has to do with temperature (around 150 C is usually the max) which obviously affects reliability and because you mentioned it, thanks BTW, I will issue this disclaimer and retract any other statements issued prior to:
"WARNING" Don’t’ use low impedance injectors with high impedance drivers or visa versa, your ECU will burst into flames. There, I feel better now. Incidentally, I am now using RC Engineering 42# injectors.
