I dont personnaly like the way the Cherry Bomb/Glass pack style mufflers sound. I prefer the sound of FlowMaster 40 series (Or like) mufflers. Be cautious not to take away ALL your back pressure.

If your pipes are 2" OD (outer diameter), you will need a muffler that is 2" ID (inner diameter). If you use 2 1/4 there will be a considerable amount of open space to close up with your clamps - it will probably leak.

yes, the system should go together opposite the direction of flow - i.e., the exhaust should have to do a 180* turn to leak....

you can check out the Autozone website. They have some decent mufflers on there from $22 and up ... I'm looking at the cherry bomb/turbo muffler ...

Blue bottles are also a low rumble sounding glasspack. But they are hard to find anywhere outside of Canada. GO CANADIA.

Glasspack mufflers add a huge amount of backpressure! I would avoid them at all cost. A Dynomax race bullet, or a Pypes M-80.

Are you sure? Glasspacks are basically a tube, with some fibreglass on the interior wall. That should not create backpressure!
