Where to start on adding AC to Non-AC 2.3l?

Bought an 89 Notch with no ac and its killing me in this AZ heat. The firewall has a rubber grommet covering the area where the high low lines came out of the evaporator.

My question is.. is the HVAC control module different? Is the HVAC box different? Is the radiator support different to support the condenser?

Doing the work is no problem, I just need some experienced input

Thanks.

If you buy all the factory parts from a donnor car of the same year as your car, it should all bolt right in , if your car does not have all of the wiring already in it, you will need that too
But man that is alot of work
I would sell the car and buy one with the A/C already in it.......

Ya there is a lot of different stuff between the cars, I'd sell it and buy one with ac. Otherwise your taking the entire dash off to swap heater boxes, going through wiring, its just a big headache.

That's where all the fun is.. I will be the one guy to go to for all the info on adding ac to non ac stangs. I figured that ill just get the box that will for damn sure fit. I found the harness under the hood for the high side sensor. The high low lines come from the firewall and on my non ac car its got a rubber gromet there. It should all plug and play. I'll probably just need a toggle switch to control a relay for the compressor clutch and a feed to the pcm for compressor command after the LSx swap.

I think i've got this down! Feel free to chime in with your ideas.

"the box" being the hvac box that contains the heater, evaporator, doors, etc. and ill just replace all the underhood shit with new stuff to ensure free and clear lines, moisture bag, orifice tube, etc.
