Lightweight flywheels

Alright, so i'm building a 2.3 Tempo and the 2.3 Mustang flywheels fit on the Tempo engines. Fidanza makes 2 different 9lb flywheels for the 2.3. They have a Billet Steel and a Billet Aluminum. I guess what i'm asking here is which one would be better. They both have the same material for the frictioin surface. The Aluminum is $380 and the Steel is $302 from Summit. I found the Aluminum directly from Fidanza for $320. Is the Aluminum worth the extra money? What would be the better flywheel?

Aluminum is roughly 1/3 the density of steel and 9 times stronger based on thickness per weight, but steels have an indefinite fatigue life. Aluminum does not. Zoom or boom: that seems to be the question here. I'm leaning towards the steel.

My boss at work was sayin steel too. He said it seemed like the aluminum would warp easier.
