You must not read other posts. You can buy a roller cam for $225.00 which is designed for N/A motors for less $$ than that flat follower cam and then go to the local Pick and Pull yard and grab a set of roller followers out of a dual plug 2.3L and you will actually see a difference in performance. Am I needing valve springs too? Not necessarily, unless yours are in poor shape (lot of miles on them). With either the turbo cam or the Comp cams grind, you will need new flat followers. They sell for roughly 80 bucks and MUST be changed when replacing the cam. Even though I won’t be happy with the turbo cam, can I still use it? You could if you wanted an engine that bogs when you step on it, which is typical of the performance you get with these types of cams when they are used without a turbo. Your car would likely accelerate more slowly with the turbo cam, depending on which one you have. If you are trying to slow your car down, there are easier ways. For a good roller cam, follow this link------>Cam Questions!
