a4ld tranni questions

so i have a mustang 2.3 with an a4ld and the trans in it is blown out
and i heard that you could get a a4ld out of a later model v6 and make it work on my car
also there supposed to have more clutches and a stronger planitary gear in them, what i wanna know is what it would take to make one fit on my motor
do i need my bell housing or my tourque conveter?
if any one has any answers it would be much appreciated

kinda the strongest are the 96 4.0l a4ld because in 97 the switched to the 4r55s just keep in mind as the power level and vehicle weight goes up so deos the transmissions strength so try to find a big v6 trans like the 4.0 or you could always go through the trans your self heres a good write up the guy spent like 900 on parts after all was said and done but he also started with a 4.0 wich has more clutches a welded planetary and a one piece steel od drum heres one of my old threads with links to his rebuild how to rebuild your a4ld
