Need ur opinion!
hey guys, im about to get a 92 mustang lx convertible that needs a little bit of work. The plan is that he will paint it any color i want before we trade cars (i have a vw golf). It looks like the majority of the work will be making the interior look great. Im thinking black paint because it is a black top convertible. What do u guys think that the interior color/colors should be? I want to do leather but i dont know if i should replace the seats with racing seats or just redo the upholstry... any ideas and/or comments would be greatly appreciated.

u've come to the right place my friend
im the resident ricer/mustang enthusiast! i wud go wit the black paint. all black interior looks good. but for the second color? u guessed it. blacks best friend. chrome. there is a ton of chrome/billet parts out there that wud love to fill the inside of ur mustang try 50resto.com and see wut u can dig up, u might get some ideas from there

black looks good on mustangs, i'd say do it, im painting my car from red to black this year and i re-did the interior with new black and grey seats

yea black and grey interior wit chrome and billet door handles, shift knob, a/c knobs, stuff like that to accent it
then get some black on chrome rims to really make it look tight they got one-piece headlight designs that are chrome and it looks hotttttt on a black mustie

EWWWWW CHROME!! yulk...i hate chrome....i keep my shit clean, all black and a hint of white from the gauges...

my friend said that i might be better off swapping a turbo off of another mustang...is he right, this would prolly be easier on the wallet too right??

from another ford, if thats wut u mean
good luck finding a turbo charged mustang other than an SVO (which are rare and few ppl wud part wit jus the engine) but yea turbo is def the way to go

Yeah, a lot easier to find a turbo coupe and yank the motor out of that - same turbo 2.3, less cranky people than parting out an SVO.

u can get it from a turbo t-bird or a merkur if u can find one
most come from t-birds, however
