2.3 to 5.0 swap
Hey guys, I just got an 87' 2.3 mustang today and I have a brand new 5.0 to put in it. Can you guys give me a list off what Ill need to drop it in? (Complete the swap).

Youd have to put a little more info than just that your swapping a 2.3 to a 5.0. Is it auto? manual? sticking with efi? But as was said, id reccomend posting this in the 5.0L section of the board for more help on this. People on that side will most likely be a bit more helpful.

I wonder what responses I would get if I went to the 5.0 section and ask for advice on yanking the V8 and putting a 2.3 in it's place... lol.

prob the same. lol. i used to have an 88 lx 5.0 and sold it and got a 93 2.3 myself. why do the swap. thars the easy way out. its better to get both the power and mpg in one shot insted. i have seen a 2.3 smoke 5.0s without even trying. i know. it happened to me when i had mine. that is the reason why i got into the 2.3s insted. that and the insurance break too. lol.
