i thinks it only weighs around 5 pounds... plus when you pull it off you'll have all the nice little screw/bolt holes to bondo shut or she'll whistle like a turbo inside your car lol.

Yup. On the flip side you could steal one of those GT spoilers. They look damn good. Long as you paint it the same colour as your car lol.

You can also swap the whole rear hatch with one that doesnt have the spoiler.

considering the cost of the hatch if you do find one on a car was ordered without the spoiler and the considerable amount of time needed to find one (seems like they'd be rare)........would it really be worth it?

I thought something looked a bit different between the rear halves of the 4-cylinder and GT cars but I couldn't quite put my finger on it. I didn't know they made different spoilers between the two cars.
Looking at a picture of a GT spoiler, there is an air opening between the spoiler and the hatch whereas the 4-cylinder spoiler doesn't have that air gap.

Not really a big deal for me. I had to basically build a whole new wiring harness for the export taillights that I installed on my '95 Cobra.
