Steering Lag
Hi, Well, i have a question...
, today im was driving my stang and i noticed a little lag on my steering, im was going in a straight line and i started to play with my steering making little turns to the left and to the right, that was when i realized that when i turn the steerring wheel to the right or either to the left the car began to move more or less a second after i turn the steering wheel i dont if that is normal on this cars, but if not, anyone know how to solve it ? what could be the problem ? i`ll really appreciate your answers. thanks. BrianF, First thing that comes to mind is the steering coupler AKA "the Rag Joint"
If the rag joint is in shape, the next thing would be the rack itself. Last edited by TJ JOHNSON; June 8th, 2011 at 07:57 AM. Reason: addition |
