well i cant figure out what to do with the mustang i have. i have wanted another 5.0 for a long time but then again im really thinking about the turbo 2.3 because of the gas price thing. what should i do? i want more than just what opinions you guys have i want some facts to back it up.

well, the SVO got the same gas mileage as the 5.0 when it came out.. so gas price shudnt really even be a factor

now if u want weight advantages.. go wit the 2.3T

go with the 2.3T because there faster then most 5.0's and just straight up cooler, and original, Just because everyone else has jumped off the bridge doesnt mean you have to to

ohhh the 5.0 is def cheaper and much cheaper to modify

but in terms of power, ull get tons more for ur money wit the 2.3

economy is about the same tho.. i wud go wit the 2.3 simply cuz it weighs less and makes the same power lol

swap a 2.3L volvo head onto the 2.3L mustang and turbo it

a DOHC 2.3T wud put out crazy HP like u wudnt even believe

then u jus sit back and watch the 5.0s wimper home, blowers, nitrous, and anything else they can pack on their bigger-pontential-engines

umm hey buddy, im making 500 or better with my 2.3 and if you go on over to TurboFord.net, you'll find hundreds of 2.3's that go faster then 9 seconds, like for example, Jon Huber's 1000hp 2.3 runs 8's, John Dell Blair,2.3 SVO 700hp, runs 9's, Fred House, 2.3 Pinto runs 8's 849hp, Dave Flanders, 2.3 750hp, 9 seconds, and thats just a few to name, and there are lots of 4 cylinder drag cars, i know your new to the whole car scene but you should be careful of the 2.3's, they may sound like nothing but theres a beast in them waiting to be unleashed

dude, are u even old enough to drive? wit that kinda knowledge, i wudnt put u behind the wheel of a honda, let alone a shelby mustang..

of course its gonna make more power if u put a turbo on a V-8.. and yes it is cuz its bigger

but its cheaper to turbo a 2.3, and thats the point of the whole thing
