quarterhorse rev limiter

To those of you who have a quarterhorse on their C1A1 or D1L1: Are you able to raise the rev limiter with the CRY def file from eecanalyzer? There is some discussion about this on some tuning forums, but i haven't been able to get a definate answer. I am trying to raise the limiter on my 2.3 ranger and was considering using the d1l1 eec if i can confirm that the limiter can be raised. If not i may have to use a 5.0 eec but thats looks somewhat complex.

You can raise the RPM limit by changing pip signal scalars to a higher value.

Is this confirmed? Some guys on eectuning were having trouble raising the limiter. What eec are you using OHC?

"What eec are you using OHC?"

I recently switched over to an LA3 and a 70MM MAF. I was using an early MAP ECU before.

I went ahead and got the C1A1 / D1L1 strategy and tried it. The rev limit is exposed and can be raised. I have the d1l1 in my 92 ranger and it is working fine-no CEL anymore! I had to turn off bp sensor, auto trans, and eletric fan, and change the maf transer. Seems to be working great so far.
