ok i have a 93 ford mustang 4cyl ints an automatic right now i want to convert it into a 5 spd i wanna take it to this shop in town ,, but i need to know what 5spd will work with my motor and wat else do i need to do the swap and info would really help thank u guys

The most simple way to do this, would be to swap the Warner T-5 trans, clutch, flywheel, pedal assembly and clutch cable from any of the 4 cylinder Mustangs or 85' through 89' T-bird/ Cougar turbo 2.3 cars. NOTE: later model T-bird/ Cougar models used a hydraulic clutch and will require more work to mount the clutch master. If the shop in town doesn't know what will work in your car, you might want to consider looking for another shop to perform the work, seriously....OHC

I agree with OHC230 if the shop in question doesn't know what will work I would seriously consider finding someone who does know or at least willing to find out information that you might want to know. On a personal note I would go with a cable clutch rather than hydro as a cable clutch is so easy to adjust and you never have to worry with a clutch master cylinder going bad on ya.
