If you want a tro kit with everything, youre out of luck. But if you want to do a turbo coupe/ svo swap you can pull an entire engine, harness and ecu out of another car. If not you can talk to some of the guys on here and they can get you a list of all the parts you will need.

I would use the whole turbo coupe engine, arent the internals on it forged? I hear a tcoupe turbo will shatter pistons in a normal 2.3

All 2.3s have a cast crank, they all have forged rods. The N/A engines have cast pistons, and the turbo engines have forged. You can boost an n/a bottom end, but it will not likely last very long.

The head design is the largest drawback for putting a turbo on a n/a 2.3 car. It's just not boost friendly. It would be cheaper and safer to find a junk yard 2.3T car and pull all of the engine, ECU and harness out of it. Most 2.3T engines can be had for a couple hundred ish, the ECU and harness if it's not still in the vehicle can be found on 2.3T specific forums for a couple hundred at most normally.

I'm going to respectfully disagree with 03R Code on the head. I've done quite a bit of analysis on 2.3 heads, both statistical and empirical and I really belive that the 85-90 castings are likely the best iron heads out there. Flame propagation is fairly efficient in the N/A heads, which is surprising considering the age of their design. besides, if you don't prefer the chamber design, they can always be re-machined. ![]()
