How hard could it be??

How hard would it be (or is it even possible) for me to take a EEC-V out of a car with a late model 4.6 with COP and put a quarter horse on it, and tune it to make a 2.3 run?? I have a feeling that it is possible, but is it practical, or worth even trying if it is possible?

Might be easier using a Ranger 2.5 computer. Anybody know if they were EEC-V?

Almost anything is possible when it comes to tuning. You would probably need the entire wiring harness since the eecv use 104 pin connector. You may also need to add sensors such as a cam position sensor. I know it is possible to run a 2.3 on a CBAZA strategy with a processor from a sn95 5.0: here is a link to the discussions on eectuning: EECTuning.org • View topic - 93 Mustang lx 2.3 ECU with Quarterhorse

That isnt a coil on plug setup, thats what i want. I am probably better off to do Megasquirt. This is long term though and i cant afford any of it now.
