Speed Density

First of all im new in this forum and never mind my English this is third language for me. one year ago i accidentally purchased the mustang, it seemed to be a good project car and like im been reading in this forum it is really good project car. Unfortunately we do not have fox body's in our market so mine is pretty much the only one.
So my plan is to turbo this car. I already start welding a new header for turbo. i was wondering can i go with speed density or i have to change it. really i don't know anything about SD.
I didīt manage to upload the photos.

A little more data about what the car is, year it was produced and engine it has now will help us help you.

It would be to your advantage to use a factory turbo fuel system with a Vane air meter to start. This system will have plenty of support, if you later decide that the factory system is not enough for you and you want to upgrade or tune the computer.

Follow the link below for more info.

The car is 2,3 N/A with manual trans and 1987. The point is I donīt have any turbo donor car. All part for American cars are way too expensive here. Iīm planning to go on Mega squirt, because i donīt know any other reasonable variant . Is Vane air=SD?
Can someone teach me how to upload photos?

If you are going with megasquirt, speed density is the way to go, the megasquirt system has an onboard MAP sensor. What horse power or kW are you looking to produce? about 150 kW will need 380cc fuel injectors. This should be a decently simple project, you will need to buy turbo forged pistons.

I would like to gain at leas 250hp. I know i need forged pistons, bigger injectors, MS, turbo, new fuel pump, inter cooler.... It is simple but very expensive project. I need to do the bodywork, drive train, engine... I have already changed the cooling system to Saab radiator and Audi expansion tank. Now i need to change heater core. For example the heater core costs 80€ in our part stores. So you can imagine how expensive it is to build this kind a project, but still Iīd like to try.

250 hp will require about 500cc injectors. I dont think you will have much trouble as long as you have the money. As far as the engine management, the 2.3T has support with megasquirt. There are many people that could help you with it. Good luck with the project and dont be afraid to ask if you need help.
