help installing new 2.3 in my svo!

i bought a svo mustang with a 93 lx 2.3 8 plug in it with turbo, blew the headgasket first 2 weeks finally saved up enough to buy a new engine ( i found a 2.3 stroker built to handle 22lbs of boost and 100 shot of nitrus i got it for around 600, heard it turn on and all it was in the car, so i take it home install it and it bolted to the trans motor mounts and most of the weiring so i tryed to crank it over and it would crank slow then smoke eventually arose in the inside of the car. the battery posts wer gettin kinda warm aswell any help? and if u live near phx az and u can take a look at it and help i would really appreciate it!

Well if its a stroker its not a 2.3! Other than that, tight bearings, maybe a bad starter? something is causing a large current.
