o2 sensor to computer singal wire.

I'm looking to wire a EFIE and need to know which wire goes from the o2 sensor to the computer. This way the EFIE can interupt that singal for adjustment via EFIE.

I have a dual edge MAP enhancer hooked up but seem to bog major almost installing after a few minutes at 10" of vacuum. Assume the computer is reading a bad o2. Soon i it turn off car run fine. But i can cruise around at 14" of vacuum and would fine also. So if the EFIE is running with the dual edge MAP enhancer it should tell the computer everything is running at .45-.50v then both switched on.

This would be on a 1991 2.3 dual plug mustang.

Thanks.

It would help if I knew what you were trying to achieve here. Are you running an HHO system? Do you have access to a dyno? I believe the output wire is black and goes to pin# 60 on your ECU. You should be able to measure voltage coming from the O2 sensor and verify the signal coming out which should measure around .9 volts.

The engineer in me has this to say about Electronic Fuel Injection Enhancer's

If you want to tune your engine there are no short cuts. The cheapest full capability tuning device on the market for tuning EEC systems is the Moates 1/4 horse, which sells for $250. +$75.00 for the software license. The vast majority of EFIE systems on the

market can't begin to compete with a full capability tuning device or tune-able ECU and in many cases these devices can damage your engine by excessively leaning the fuel mixture, which will destroy catalytic converters and create localized heating within the combustion chamber, which will dramatically shorten engine life. If better mileage is your goal there are better ways to accomplish this!
