1980 2.3 turbo clutch?
ok i have a 1980 2.3l turbo mustang i currently got the motor rebuilt and i assembled the block. i was woundering if a stage 2 clutch off ebay that is for a svo 5speed will work on my 4 speed trans. they both have 10 splines can some 1 help?

i can give you a number for a guy that makes good clutches for 2.3s.

The Brake and Clutch Exchange
Frank Pierce 217-502-4038 The web site isnt very helpful. Call the number and tell him what you want. I met the guy at the Indy circle track expo, he had a clutch there for a 2.3 and they are copper ceramic clutches, he has stage 3 and 4 for sure, im not sure if he has anything smaller. He also offers them with sprung and unsprung hubs. Just a disc will run you 90 unsprung and 110 sprung is what he told me.

thanks man i appriciate it. i am gonna put the motor in soon i was thinking if i can switch to a msd ignition i just wanna upgrade the boost retard to something that msd has do u know if i can do that?
