That looks pretty bitchin.. I have the smoked tails on my car, they're great. I've been pulled over and cited for them though. No reflectors.. so put some reflective tape in them.

Hello Everyone,

My name is Mike and I have an 85 Mustang SVO....approximately 6 thousand miles. I got it as a graduation present early 1986 and has pretty much been parked since then. I dont really have plans to sell it, but wondering if anyone has an idea what I could get for it.

No Mods except an air freshener!

Bruce

I have an 88 LX convertible that's in 100 pieces. Bought it for $500 running, more like hobbling, and I'm taking it apart and rebuilding it.

So, future/current plans -

Ranger header and free flowing exhuast
CAI
Comp Cams High Energy Cam
Poly control arm bushings
TMI/Classic Industries Pony Style seat covers (Regatta Blue/Oxford White)
Swap to T5
Traction Loc
Paint - 1966 Silver Blue Poly

Then the normal -
Replace heater core and AC Evaporator (that was difficult- I had to cut open the case and the seal it back up)
Replace Carpet
Do the body work
Rebuild the braking systems
Replace weatherstrips

What I'm trying to do is emulate a 1966, but they are not safe enough to drive cross country. They have no structural reinforcements, the top of the gas tank is the bottom of the trunk, etc... They were designed for the time, but people are crazier behind the wheel now.

Anyway, that's my project.
