How to take the stock in-dash radio/casset player out?


hello again...

im trying to replace the stock radio and i cant get it out of the dash. please tell me how. THANKS

go to the store and buy a din removal tool and have fun putting the new stereo in if its a 6 speaker

You cang et the romoval tool at WalMart...

I have used metal clothes-hangers in the past...They work as well...

i never tried the cloths hanger before, but i do have a set of removal keys

Yeah it works...But you have to keep your hands on the clothes hanger and the headunit...Its kinda of a pain; but it works in a pinch...

and actually, it wudnt look as bad as it does if they didnt spray paint it black.. lol

it was red.. kinda gay but i plan on repainting it black, with a real paint gun tho.. and im doin it myself

i cant say much ight now either i have three different colors on my stang. blue black and rust. sitting for 3 years and not moving does that
