SO...2.3 dual spark

so i have a 2.3 dual spark motor out of my 93 notch( curently geting a 408) its just siting here. once im done i'd like to do something with it. now since its a dual spark motor is it worth it. i i build it up id do a stroker kit and lower the compression for a Turbah but...just wondering if i should do it or not. its been a while since i built up a four, and the first time doing a ford four, so i think i might add one my old 16Vvolvo heads to it too( use to build up volvo motors). so worth it

P.S. i have a holset HX35 that i'll trow on it.

Well, on the note of lowering compression, when you buy forged pistons for it, the compression will be lowered automatically. Dished pistons are 8:1 compression.

A Volvo head and Holset HX35 turbo would definitely make it worthwile. Especially if you like beating up V8s all day.

Well if you really want to turbo a 2.3, the best way to do it is to get a 2.3T from a T-bird. Unless you plan on dumping loads of money into your project or want to make so much power you need to change everything anyways.

Not only would you have to buy the turbo for a n/a engine, you would also need forged internals, a computer, an oil feed for the turbo, header/exhaust (you'll probably get that new anyways but..), and a whole bunch of little gizmos and gadgets.

IMO, I think it would be cool to turbo an n/a block, but it requires a LOT of money. You're probably better off putting a turbo on a V8 if you're going to use an n/a block.

well the Holset would work wonders on the 2.3 especially with the Volvo head, but to make that fit, it requires a bit of milling and custom fitting
