B*tch is annoying me..

Damn car was running fine yesterday.. I went up to change the oil today and we turned it on to let it run and the bitch won't stop idling weird..

She's acting up, being all cranky and what not.. I think it's the computer still getting used to the CAI or something. It was disconnected from the battery all last night so it reset itself. But it never did that before

Any ideas?

when you mod you should let the car run through at least three drive cycles before the computer gets used to the new mod

Yeah probably true, and a CAI is definitely a big improvement in the amount of air she's sucking in now..

It ran fine the first time we fired it up.

But we shut it off.

Then when we went to put it up on the ramps, the shit started idling weird and acting like a little baby.

So i revved it up a couple times to stretch her legs, but the clutch sucks balls and i let it out too much..

I was angry so I didn't even bother turning it back on.. fuckin' bitch.

i had the same problem, its the intake, it's not use to breathing so good after 20 years, so its liking that air to much, also you have anything venting the crankcase??
if you put a rebreather on it and attach a hose from it to the intake, its hould change things a bit, and like i said before, since its getting more air, its gonna want fuel

hmmm, when you had the stock intake on, was there like a fliter with a hose or anything??
if not, since your going more performance, you need to vent the crankcase, your gonna need a small rebreather filter and and a closed one with a spot for a hose, put the rebreather on one side and put the other with the hose to the intake, this will raise the compression and add a bit more performance

What exactly is the crankcase? lol

And uh, what do I do with the lines I cut from the stock airbox. Something about fuel recycling gas fumes or something. I just cut them and let them hang out lol.
