No idea yet, remember my dad got it and himself kicked out of the shop so we didn't get to get the tweecer tuner and go get a tune and dyno yet. Gonna go talk with my buddy who has a 2.3T in his ranger and talk with him about it. Maybe he has one laying around he'd like to sell :-)

As for that rebreather as you call it Turbo. Where i'm at they call it a breather.

Oh ya the CAI wasn't anything I made picked it up for $50 at discount auto parts. Some generic one they had with the right setup I needed :-) it was hella tight when I found it and got it.

I'm seeing a few engine mods but have you done anything to it that is not directly visible ? And what did those mods you did do run in cost ?

As far as performance gains I know you said you havent dynoed it but off of feel tell me how much of a gain do you feel the car has gotten based off how it ran before.

Feels like its probably 120-140 horse or so, car pulls alot more than it used to when accelerating, the cam and the header both have links in the 2.3L owners thread at the top if you wanna see what they are. None visible stuff obviously, port n polish on the head, head shaved a few thousandths, the cs1156r cam shaft and the glass pack on the exhaust.

The ram-air setup as you call it actually came with the CAI when I bought it, just some flex tubing and an adapter that plugs into the filter. Figured what the hell fresh air can't hurt and I need all the cold air I can get cause that header is fuckin brutal. Its melted a few wires already cause of the heat it produces. Need to get some heat wrap and spray to lock it in and try to cool it down next to the intake tubing.

Ga_50_foxbody, the specs weren't put into this thread. I put em all into the owners thread at the top of this forum hence the reason you didn't see that.

i used to want to heat wrap my header too, but i read this thing about nascar drivers using it and it isnt good to wrap it

it actually destroys the header. the heat needs to dissipate and if it doesn't, the header material starts to break down. it will actually start losing weight and get to a point where the only thing holding it together is the wrap itself.

if you're really worried about it, buy a coated header, inside and out. it will keep the heat from coming thru while at the same time protecting the header itself. the only problem is.. it isn't cheap. at all. lol

and 93fourbangerstanger, the breather is for the crank case. he's only using it because he's too lazy to get a tube to put into the air intake
