Yay more problems

Well, got a new problem with the car yay...... Driving home today about 3/4 of the way soon as I dumped off the interstate car started hesitating/missing when accelerating. Figured it was just clearing its throat and ignored it. Anyways kept driving now in city traffic and almost everytime my foot was on the gas I kept getting this hesitation/miss. Any help for me again?

Toaster referring to the header when it heats up

Anyways never, gonna pull the cam out this weekend and replace it with a stock cam and see what happens to it, if the few problems i've been having go away then obviously we found the problem and go from there. Probably get a different cam from racerwalsh or something and hopefully relieve the problems while gaining performance.

Speed pro. I figured the cam was screwing the car up. Its only a $100 cam, the one i want with like 2-300 so if the stock one fixes it cool I can drive a reliable car for a week and order the cam the next week

u kno that a roller cam from a 91+ mustang or 89+ ranger will give you a performance boost

it wont exactly be the same as a $300 one, but its still a boost

Ya I know but, I don't know enough about cams to try and change to much. The car has a hydraulic cam in it right now so if I can buy a brand new performance cam with the same setup should just be a swap for me. Not sure how the other cams work or how much work is involved so. Plus I don't like used parts. I like the new ooooo shiny.

Its bad enough to irritate the hell out of me. None the less gonna do the stock cam and see what happens. Week or 2 down the road upgrade to a good cam and if it starts back up i'll start looking at injectors and and fuel pump and such. Screwed up thing is I had the car for 2 days and it fixed it then the mechanics did alot of adjusting and tuning and now ya. Oh well I like throwing money around so its something new for me to learn and do.

the stock fuel system acnnot handle the beefy cam that is in it, so you need to upgrade the fuel pump, injectors and you'll need and FPR

if you plan to get rid of that cam, ill take it

Well about how much would it cost to upgrade all this stuff to give it a try and how hard would it be to switch it all out. Also how many gph do you think I should get on the fuel pump? I'm all for trying to keep this cam and get the car running correctly. Just don't want to invest to much more into it if I don't have to right now ya know.
