MAF Conversion

Anyone have any tech articles on how to do this on a speed density setup? I've been told with the cam I have that I may need to convert to the MAF configuration to allow more adaptability with the cam. Anything would be helpful as if this fixes my problem i'll be gettin the car dyno'd for you folks this week or next.

you can actually, but its for more higher HP applications

you might end up having to get a newer EEC out of a newer fox
let me see if i can find you that diagram

While your at it see if you can find me an EEC out of like an 88 california model or an 89-90 everywhere else. I haven't been able to find either of those years in the junkyards so I haven't been able to see it might be compatible with mine. Remember I need a single spark setup not dual. Only reason I was looking at megasquirt is because i'll have it there for when I go to a 2.3T application and I can just modify the board for what I need. Plus it will give me time to learn the application. None the less I think the cams gonna work with speed density. Either the computer is adjusting to it now or something but the car is only having issues with cold starting conditions now. Once it warms up its hesitating less and less and I haven't had it backfire in 3 days. Just got done replacing the thermostat with a 180 and changing the coolant temp sensor. Gotta wrap the heads and coat em tomorrow before the car is able to move. Once its done i'll take it out beat the shit out of it and if all goes well gonna call the guy and get it dyno'd :-) YAY!!!
