if you're gonna keep it n/a, i wud go wit an exhaust too

breathing is important.. i wud do that first. then gears, injectors and FPR, then a cam. then try to take weight off as much as possible lol

dude
The most i could get out of my 2.3 was a chirp and that was in the rain or in a gravel parking lot.
lol

but if you really want to make that 2.3 a beast.

exhause, new intake, new manifold, heads, lifters, you could try stroking it.

or turbo it.

takin 100 pounds off the front will really increase ur times in the quarter

better hp/weight ratio plus weight transfer is improved

or u can spend like $436243624364 on power increases

weight removal has many benifits whereas horsepower increase has only 1

removing weight will make you accelerate faster, brake faster, be more agile around corners (not having a big ol' V8 helps there too), and wud stiffen up the car (not the weight-loss part, the fact that the suspension parts wud be better quality)

i wud rather take weight off than add horsepower

especially on a n/a 2.3L
