yea haha

im expecting some major stuff to get done over the winter months, thats when no1 chills and jus sits inside in the heat, so it'll be distraction-free

but yea, im hoping for the volvo head swap, we were over the junkyard last weekend lookin for volvos.. we found the 8V.. i was pissed lol

so yea, that reminds me, i wanna make around 250hp for starters (i hav no experience driving high-powered cars, id like to work up) so what kinda turbo wud be good for that? i dont wanna put that huge ass holset on there

i kno the T3 wud be good, any others if i cant find it?

the T3 would be best for you, i would say IHI but they only max out at 240hp or so, the T3 maxes at 300 and the T3/T4 maxes at 400

so your better off with the T3, of course the 60/40 A/R one because there are many different T3's and there different sizes

for a turbo??

no, all you need is the turbo manifold, just if you buy an engine, make sure it has everything you need,

Ga_50 has one for sale

In addition to the cylinder head modifications detailed below, intake and exhaust manifolds will have to be constructed as the stock Ford 2.3lt. manifolds will not fit. There was a turbocharged Volvo engine but the manifold is not suitable to this conversion as it places the turbo in the same location as the Ford starter. The head to manifold flanges and the parts of the individual runners containing the injector mounting bosses can be used from the Volvo intake but the runners will have to be angled up to clear the left hand drive brake hardware.

ahhh i see, didnt know the turbos went that low on the volvo's

nothing a little fabbing cant whip up

well I have my have $60 and am still waiting for the header, it should be here on thursday or friday. $45 to pay for the header and im hoping $15 will be enough to have a shop weld a cap on it
