Idle issues

My idle all ****ed up on my car again. With the IAC unplugged and the cam installed 0*'s its idling at 1500 RPM and its a bitch to start (foot to the floor and cranking for 10 seconds)

Start listing off issues because now I just wanna do the engine swap with a C3 and call it good for a year

NO POSTING USELESS SHIT IN HERE GUYS

ah this again eh?

Well you def. have a vaccumm leak somewhere, best bet is to seafoam it and see where the leak comes from

it has alot to do with the intake, i know for a fact that the one line that was on the stock air box that sucks air needs to be plugged, thats one reason that may cause high idle, might wanna check it out

I sea foamed my engine a while ago and that line is being used with my boost gauge right now so anyone got any other ideas?

Ok I got it. A stripped hole on the TB for the IAC caused it the bolt to back out. Drilled the hole out and bolted it down so now it idles at 1000 RPM and the IAC is still unplugged (because its fucked)

then you need to range it

IMO, i leave mine unplugged so it idles about 800rpms and with the flowmasters it sounds like a cammed out 302, sounds cool

It could make you idle lower or it could blow your engine up

MSO you def. have a vac leak

93 4banger, if you unplug it, it will idle real low and give a bit of a lumpy sound at idle, sounds cammed

Sleeper, might wanna see if its ranged correctly
