my wife opened my passenger door while i was backing up and pretty much almost pulled the door off. had to replace it found a door in correct color that was needed. no door panel though but still had the glass door handle a lock(kept as a spare) kept the glass as a spare as well. for only 17 bucks. But I also have no place to store another vehicle at the moment. in my other thread that I started for posting pics. I will be adding my car in a few moments youll see that I live in an apartment currently and dont feel like paying 40 bucks per junk car I have lol just for a stall.
Just got back in though from one store that I tend to get my parts from checking out pricing for the flowmaster 40. $127.34 CAD and its like a 3-5 day wait for it.. |

where abouts are you located that you can find a 5speed for 65? I had my chance like 2 years ago when i had my 89 coupe to key a complete donor car for 250 bucks. But again I didnt have the space. I was still living at home with my dad and he had his own project sitting in the back so.. lucked out on that one.
well what would be the best and cheapest way to get her up abit. so I can at least beat a 2.4L sunfire.. kinda sad I cant keep up with em' from a dead stop. Ill do the tranny but i gotta find another donor car which is like hard to find here. and what can i take a rear end out of that has t-Lok? |

i wudnt do the 2.5 setup personally
i dont think you're putting out that much exhaust with a stock 2.3 or even a lightly modified one..

You dont have enough power for the 2.5" exhaust, you'll lose power actually

grr lol..ok as much as i enjoy talkin to you guys about this i wanna get this sorted out lol so I know what I should do and in what order.
I know the Tranny should be swapped out. But that will come in time when I come across one. But does this sound like a decent order: 1. CAI w/ K&N Cone Filter 2. Header 3. Injectors 4. Cam 5. Fuel Pressure Regulator And do you think that would at least keep me up with the 2.4 sunfires or beat em? |

Depending on the size of your cam will determine if you need bigger injectors and a FPR

The Ranger Roller, good upgrade, but no need to beef up the fuel for that cam

you shud beef up the fuel tho if you got intake/full exhaust
you can also get a long-rod kit or even jus pistons KB makes pistons that are lighter and stronger and you can get them for like $110 you can get ones that increase compression too
