yes MSO rub it like youd rub yourself HAHA
I have polished rims for my buddies T/A
and his alternator, along with a few other
things for him. To get things goin. if you have
a die-grinder or anything like that. You should
be able to pick uplittle brown colored wheels.
(cant remember the name of them at the moment)
But I will get the name for you a bit later on.

And Ill post a pic along with it so you know what i
mean. Pretty much you just keep going over the
surface with that your pretty much shaving a very
slight portion of the surface off. if your not
careful you could end up making it so that the surface
is not straight or even. Will have lil warps in it.
pretty much dont stay in onespot for too long
keep moving your grinding wheel nice and evenly
through out the entire surface. This removes
the rough surface and giving you somewhat of a
nicer looking rim. BUT NOT DONE. You can stop
here if you like. But for better result. If you have
a nice big buffing wheel. And again i can not remember
the name of the product. But it is red colored clay.
that is ment for polishing. turn the buffing wheel on.
(best if its like bench mounted or something like that)

run the buffing wheel along the clay abit, and start
running the surface of the rim over the buffing wheel.
That will get the outter surface. for getting in lil spots
like the holes. pretty much the same thing. You can get
polishing stones which may help. I havent used them
personally. Never had to. or just get a small enough
buffing pad that can go in there.

JUst to let you know though. holding on to the rim
CAN get very hot after being on the buffing wheel for
awhile.found out the hard why polishing my buddies
alternator and ended up dropping it haha

ya. but doing that you also risk warping the panel..
Heat can be a valueable asset when fixing metal
but used incorrectly.. can fuck it up
