turbo pinto

Hi, I have a 1980 Pinto that I'm thinking about swapping a 2.3 Turbo into. I bought the car a couple years ago planning to swap a 302 with Cleveland heads into it. When I was reading about the swap I discovered the 2.3 Turbo swap and considered it too. Nothing really happened with the pinto at all, then yesterday I found a T-bird Turbo Coupe for sale for $500. That brought up the idea of the engine swap again. The Pinto I have has a 2.3 already, and it also has the automatic, which I believe would be a C4. I'm thinking about buying that T-bird and swapping in the Turbo motor, but I want to keep it an automatic. I heard the C4 in the Pintos is weaker than a regular C4. Is there any conversion kit to make the Pinto C4 stronger? Or would a C4 out of an older car with a 302 fit? What else would be necessary to make the conversion work?
