Late updates

Sorry for taking so long to post this minor update and pics. The MSD SCI ignition box is installed and my new power box for the cluster overlay are now installed and working. I'll take a night picture of the overlays later so you all can see it lit up. Enjoy.

I had those in my truck, I actually found them a hell of a lot easier to read at night. I don't do so good with the funky orangish color some cars have

Same here plus the stock dimmer for my car is starting to die. If I turn it to a certain point all the dash lights turn off when they should be on. Then I have to fiddle with it till they come back. Now I just leave it so the needles light up somewhat and use the new dimmer to adjust the brightness of the cluster. Now to just fix the needle placement so the stuff reads correctly. Amp gauge is off by 2-3 notches, gas gauge is way off, and speedometer is off by 5 mph now. Yay.

I'm tempting to try and put my speedometer off by 5 or 10 on purpose considering the number of speeding tickets I've gotten this summer. When you spend the summer working in RI and have mass plates, and well drive like you're in mass, the cops tend to dislike it

I figure if I can pretend I'm doing 80 in a 55, and its really 75, well 20 overs not bad at all... right?

It's funny on forums I'm a guy because well I'm on car forums, have worked on cars my whole life, only will drive a manual, and own trucks, whereas everyday when looking at cars its you have boobs therefore you must drive a really ricey pink automatic POS

Although I did get out of a ticket once cause the cop was so shocked to find a gal behind the wheel of my truck, and probably my name on the regs. that he made about 5 sexiest comments before I told him he should quit waisting his time, with those comments theres no way the ticket will hold in court. I still take pride in the fact he just silently walked away
