Ranger Header DONE!

ok so i finally just finished puttin my ranger header into my car
Bolt up to the head, and to the rest of the pipe is not a problem.
The biggesnt problem i can tell you all about is the EGR
Tube. litterally have to cut your old one and then weld it
onto the the ranger headers egr tube once that one has been cut as well.

MAKE MEASUREMENTS! i made the mistake of not doing anything and
ended up haveing to do a tone of bends in the tube to fit properly
and so i could bolt my EGR valve back up into place and blocked again.

So far.. Havent noticed any difference in tone. Power.. wouldnt know
yet ill be goin on the high way tomorrow out to the farm so when
I return I'll inform all of you what i notice. and I will post pictures.

but im pretty sure i know where it is. its either because of the gasket
(reused the old one.. too cheap at the moment to get a new one.)
had abit of damage done to it..

the other place ithink it might be at is where the header meets the
exhaust pipe. I'm also gonna have to drill a hole in the header as well
for the o2 sensor. BUT I shall post pics and when I get the
exhaust leak taken care of ill post a video as well.

Sounds good man, now you need flowmasters and 2.25" exhaust

lol ive heard what the flow 40's sound like.. at idle.. maybe
enough to fool.. but when it was reved up you know its a four banger
still. But Ido plan on doin that. But I gotta first relocate my o2 Sensor.
that and fizing the exhaust leak are my main priorities at the moment.

but you have a turbo lol

it muffles it for you

try putting 2 mufflers on it, 1 wit mad restrictive properties and the flow40

Hehe I try... but seriously if you still sound like a 4 banger, and pull up n smoke a v8 its 10 times better when you win

ya id have to agree it really does sound like a v8

also the more exhaust that goes through the more it sounds like a v8, i know that works like that with glasspacks.but i can hear a diffrence now then when i first got my flows 40's.

and by the way as a warning i would get flows super 40's if you can.you ask why? because i have 40s and i cant even talk on the phone and drive cuz its so lound, i have to put it in nootchy

my friends tell me thay can hear me from about 5 blocks away

But wont be able to post till I get back into the city.
