Wheel Size!

I just wanted to know whats the biggest rim
you can fit under those fenders? I'd like to fill them in. (89 Hatch)
I really want Cobra R's even if tons have em......just
I can only find 17x9's and those are pretty big
also Isn't 9 inches = 228mm? if so would I use 225 or 230?

What's the widest tire I can fit front///rear
without having turning clearance problems
cuz the set of CobraR's Im gonna get are 17x9 all the way around
and their cheap so I can just replace the front 2 to like 16x8 or something

Ya that would be awesome if you could. Thanks!

How bad do they rub? Is your car lowered cuz I plan on doing that also
If it is minor I'll try to stretch a tire on the rim, I'll try a 205 first then a 215
I watched a guy stretch a 175 onto a 195 rim at work
and I asked him about tires and such I also asked you guys to so..I got the best. :wink

my buddy is runnin on 245/50 with 16 rims. two inch drop in the front
and 1.5inch drop in the rear. Great stance. looks like he has no clearance
for the front tires but he has full movement without them rubbing at all.

sweet thanks!
I made my decision
17x9 rim becuz theyre cheap and i can replace the front with 16x8
when i get the money lol
except instead of putting a 225 or 230 on them ill stretch a 205 or 215 on
I think that'll be enough to clear the fenders
