93 2.3L n/a

OK my girlfriends brother has a 93 cylinder

he wants to mod it. and hes got money....the car was $1880 and its in good condition blah blah boring

anyway...i dont think he wants to do anything serious...and he's not ready for a 2.3T swap...or just the turbo really would be too much for him

point
this wont be a drag car.
just looking for a little muscle

i did some slight reasearch and came up with this

intake
ranger header
and the knock sensor
and exhaust

how much is he looking at power wise wiht that...less then 20?

since all these parts except exhaust are gonna be under a $100. we might do a stage 1 cam.

also is there anysite that sells cams or performance parts for this car?

thank you

he gets about $20k a year from a food company due to an accident so money isnt so much an issue at all....
BUT i'll be doing all the mechanicall work
and he wont
so thats why i want nothing extreme

lol 93 4 cylinder

wow 115hp...
im guessing the exhaust would just take him to 120 if hes lucky
i know the engine has just been rebuilt
so he wont have to worry about loss power from old age
but wow.,...just 115...i think im gonna tell him to get the head milled .7, exhaust, lifters, while im at it in there stage 2 cam

115 hp is just a ballpark with with a ranger roller cam or stage 1 esslinger or racer walsh cam with hydrauilc lifters, cold air intake, EGR Block off plate and header and full exhuast

these 2.3's make ALOT more power when you mill the head

theres members on here with N/A 2.3's who are making 300-400hp with those mods and crazy head milling and bored blocks

Check local scrap metal places/ junk years for cheap 2.3Ts... and you should let him know you'd like a lil something something for all your work, specially if he's not helping. That's only fair.
