Well my I finally got my dad to give me a hand so we are fabricating an 2.25 inch exhaust as we speak. Its not gonna be a full exhaust but it will be enough to get the flowmaster 40 muffler on there and get it run to at least the back tire. I'll try to get a video and/or sound clip of what it sounds like after. Next up, dyno time.

On another note apparently the timing was completely out of whack. The guy selling me that svo motor looked at all the oil that was spit up through the valve cover and said that I was gettin pressure in a cylinder when I shouldn't causing the pressure to go through the valve cover. Anyways back to work. Pics should be up tonight.

Got rid of the glass pack for the straight pipes and a flowmaster 40 muffler. Heres the video for you all by the way.

The problem I hear with it is at high rpms about 4k or so it tends to whine showing whats truly under the hood. Most v8's I hear just rumble all the way through. None the less it sounds good and the car is performing so much better.

Well since resetting all the timings (camshaft, crankshaft, and putting the auxillary shaft to the correct position) plus the exhaust it feels alot better now. Picks up much better than before. Soon as I have some funds floating around i'll be going to get a dyno so everyone can see the results of this. Then come time january or febuary i'll be doing the 2.3T swap. Hurray.

Now now kiddies, lessing whoring my thread. There is a section for that. Also NBA there will be a lot more work going into my car here soon. From the first 2.3 N/A rebuild and swap to the new 2.3 SVO Turbo swap coming up in january or febuary (sp?) me frail engrish. I like to build the motor myself then drive and race them. Oh wells, back to body work, punched the car in the back left paneling under the window right where a crease is for the window. This dent is proving to be a pain in the ass to get out. Any hints or tips on getting it out would be appreciated. I know nothing of cosmetics work.
