sounds like the alternator isnt charging, test it first

Well now it stays on at any RPM, drove it to lunch/Autozone and picked up a new ALT. Hopefully it makes it home.
Ill try the shotgun approach, just start replacing crap starting with the alternator. Its all old anyway. Connector that usually melts still looks good.
